Software Subscription Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to all software subscription services provided by ELD Nexus. Our platform provides Electronic Logging Device (ELD) software and related digital services delivered online through secure user accounts.

By purchasing a subscription, customers agree to the refund terms described below.


2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Customers may request a full refund if the software subscription is canceled within 30 days from the original activation date.

To qualify for the 30-day refund:

  • The request must be submitted within 30 calendar days of activation.

  • The subscription must be canceled through our support team.

  • The account must remain in good standing.

If approved, the full subscription fee will be refunded to the original payment method.


3. Refunds After 30 Days

If a refund request is submitted after the first 30 days, the following policy applies:

  • A usage fee of $70 per month will be deducted for each month the software service has been active.

  • Any discounted, promotional, or special pricing applied at the time of purchase will not be considered when calculating refunds.

  • If any balance remains after deducting the applicable monthly usage charges, the remaining amount will be refunded.

If the calculated balance is zero or negative, no refund will be issued.


4. Subscription Cancellation

Customers may cancel their software subscription at any time.

Cancellation requests must be submitted by contacting our support team with the following information:

  • Registered email address

  • Company name

  • Subscription details

Cancellation becomes effective once the request is confirmed by our support team.

Canceling a subscription will stop future billing, but it does not automatically qualify the account for a refund unless the conditions outlined in this policy are met.


5. Automatic Renewal

All software subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled before the next billing date.

By purchasing a subscription, customers authorize ELD Nexus to charge the payment method on file for recurring subscription fees.

Customers are responsible for canceling their subscription prior to the renewal date if they do not wish to continue the service.


6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Used subscription periods beyond the 30-day guarantee

  • Partial billing periods

  • Promotional or discounted pricing

  • Accounts terminated due to policy violations

  • Services already delivered and accessed through the platform


7. Partial Billing Periods

Refunds are not issued for partial subscription periods.

If a subscription is canceled during an active billing cycle, access to the software will remain available until the end of the paid billing period, after which the subscription will not renew.


8. Refund Processing Time

Once a refund request is reviewed and approved, refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days.

Refunds are issued only to the original payment method used during the purchase.

Processing times may vary depending on the customer’s bank or payment provider.


9. Account Suspension or Termination

Accounts that are suspended or terminated due to violations of company policies, fraudulent activity, abuse of the service, or illegal use of the platform are not eligible for refunds.


10. Chargebacks

Customers are required to contact ELD Nexus support before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

Filing a chargeback without first contacting our support team may result in:

  • Immediate account suspension

  • Permanent termination of the subscription

  • Loss of access to the software platform

Unauthorized or fraudulent chargebacks may also be reported to the payment provider for investigation.


11. Service Availability

While we strive to maintain continuous availability of our software platform, refunds will not be issued for temporary interruptions caused by:

  • System maintenance

  • Internet connectivity issues

  • Third-party infrastructure failures

  • Events beyond our reasonable control
